[GCARC] Winter Field Day.

The key word in WFD rules seems to be insulation.

Keep in mind most popup campers are basically tents on wheels. No
insulation, and if they have heat (not all of them do) it's not really
enough to keep up with January temperatures. Contrast this to the hard
sided campers like Tony and I bring to field day - insulated, heat, air
conditioning, hot & cold running water, shower, toilet, refrigerator,
stove, microwave.. It's a whole house on wheels.

WFD does differentiate between a home/permanent station and
remote/temporary, so calling a hard sided camper "indoor but remote"
seems pretty fair. Somebody operating with nothing but canvas or a tarp
between them and the elements is going to have a much tougher time than
somebody inside an insulated and climate controlled structure.

Any doubt just take a peek at this picture of the inside of the Field
Day 2021 VHF station - I couldn't call this outdoors while keeping a
straight face!

Probably a bit late this year to pull off a real effort, but I think a
club effort at winter field day could be fun.
