I have once again accepted the job of Field Day Chairman. I usually start early with monthly updates, until June, when I send more frequent emails.

I will assume that the same stations and band chairs that were at Field Day last year, will be there this year. If you cannot for any reason, let me know and I will put out a request for other people.

We may be able to run a 10M station this year.

Also, at our 40M SSB station, I would like to have volunteer operators. Any time on any day and Sat night, too. No experience necessary. We will take a seasoned contester or beginner. We will train you if you need it. Last year, I had a couple of late volunteers come up to me on Field Day asking to run a station (I think one was a reverend or minister). It was a little late for that day, but you are more than welcome to operate with us at 40M.

Also, this year, we will need a guard at the public info table, at the driveway. Last year, we had some wine people park in the middle of our antenna fields. We cannot have that again. The area will be roped off, and as cars enter, the rope will be moved and put back to prevent wine parking.
