[GCARC] Anyone Interested in the TechNet FT8 Classes...

If you are planning to attend the GCARC TechNet FT8 classes starting 2
January 2023, *and* if you are *not* a current user of Logbook of the Word
(LOTW), there is a preliminary step that you must take in order to be ready
for the classes.  Setting up LOTW requires the user to obtain a
snail-mailed postcard from ARRL with a software key so that you can
properly establish the database and its connection(s) on your computer.

To obtain the postcard, begin by going to the LOTW starter page at
https://lotw.arrl.org/lotw-help/getting-started/ and start reading and
following the directions given there.

It is VERY important that you do this ASAP, as it can take a week or more
for the postcard to arrive.  You will need the postcard to continue with
the LOTW setup and configuration.
