*LET  THE BEGGING BEGIN*

**

Reminder:  Everyone gets these recruitment emails.  If you already
volunteered, you should have received a confirmation.  If you have not,
please contact us.  Please use this email to let your fellow HAMS know
about the event, and to hopefully come out.

OKAY – Those of you who know me, know I have a bad heart.  Those of you
who do not know me, now you also know I have a bad heart. When I send
out these emails, and I only get 8 to 10 volunteers, I am truly
beginning to think that you are trying to give me another heart attack.
(Especially those of you who know me) J

We are 7 weeks away from the event, and WE ARE STILL OVER 50 HAMS SHORT
of what we need to support this event the way we should, we could, the
way that we NEED to do to help this event be successful in helping all
the local folks living with MS, just trying to have a better day than
the day they had yesterday.  If you haven’t watched the “What HAMS Do”
video yet, or if you have watched it, please watch it again and hear the
MS Chapter President, Kevin Mffitt, explain how they could not do the
event without us, and how it has been that way from the start.  (2:40
into the video)

7 weeks may sound like a long time, but in reality, we are only 4 weeks
away from our training, support, and informational conference calls.  We
need to know our workforce prior to these calls so that we can know what
our assignment numbers are, where our assignments will be, and be sure
that we can offer a comprehensive and thorough knowledge to everyone
involved.

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, dig deep to put these 2 days aside ( September
24^th and 25^th , 2022 ) to come out and help us support this Public
Service Event in a way only HAMS can do. Attached is our paper / email
sign up form, but try to use our on line sign up for a quicker response.

Once again, on behalf of the MS Society, the MS Event Comms Team, and
all those folks living with MS in our area, and around the world, we
THANK YOU for your anticipated help and support.

*LET’S SEE IF WE CAN GET AT LEAST 25 VOLUNTEERS FROM THIS EMAIL ALONE.*

With Much Appreciation
