[GCARC] 15m wide open to EU now

Morning update to add to this:

HF vertical sounders are showing FoF2 critical frequency can use for NVIS
(vertical signal reflects back down to you) at frequencies as high as
15Mhz in some places on the planet this morning. This is resulting in MUF
predictions for 3000 KM skips on frequencies as high as 47 Mhz where it is
afternoon right now (western Australia as I type this). Details at
https://prop.kc2g.com/ for live view of these sounder's data.

To help explain what might be behind this, at https://spaceweather.com/ we
can see "Angry sunspot faces Earth" as a feature story.

Anecdotal: At 5:30am, before sunrise, I was able to make FT8 contact with
Australia on 20M using just a wire dipole in attic of my house, which I
suspect was a long path based on the above data.

This may be an interesting Saturday for any licensed ham who can get on 10
meters!
We will see!
