[GCARC] Fwd: Worked All Europe DX Contest (WAEDC) SSB

If anyone's interested at all in starting with contesting, the CQ WW RTTY
<https://cqwwrtty.com/> contest is this weekend. It's one of the biggest
RTTY contests, and pretty easy to get involved with.

I plan to take part casually (my wife is gone on Saturday, so I can't sit
on the radio all day). If you want to participate as well, I'm happy to
spend a little time helping get N1MM+ (contest logger) and FSK RTTY with
anyone that wants to play along with me.

There are online real time leaderboards at

to see how you're doing. I don't really worry too much about the score, or
how I do. It's just great fun to have a limitless sea of operators to QSO
with.

Your station is not up to snuff, you say? RTTY contests can be a lot more
fun than SSB contests especially with a less-than-great station, not too
difficult to get the software set up if you have a modern-ish HF radio, and
it's a great way to see how your station is performing.
