I am sorry to hear about the clubs misfortune during the tornado.
Fortunately noone was hurt but the equipment loss is still devastating. I
have a 58 ft freestanding commercial style tower that came from the estate
of Don Smith WB2ZJF earlier this year. After purchasing I realized it was
going to be overkill for my application and sits on the ground. The tower
was welded together at the joints and I separated it into 16 ft sections to
make it moveable. It was on a tilt base which I cut flush with the concrete.
Some work will be required to make it functional but overall it is in good
condition. I have over $500 invested in it and am looking to recoup some of
my expense. I am open to offers if the club or any of it's members would be
interested.
