Hello, All! W2PDB and W2RM Here! (Phyllis and Ray Martin)

So it seems that every time I miss a meeting, I get elected to a committee. If it involves food, I don’t mind. That is intended to be a joke.

So I “volunteered” to set up a Holiday gathering for the club. After researching the possibilities, and affordabilities with a bit of class,  Mona Lisia on Corkery Lane in Williamstown  seems to be the best atmosphere and affordable food in the area.

They have 2 packages but we have to guarantee 20 or more people for which one we choose. . If you go onto their website you can see the “Banquet Packages”. They have a Gold package with only has 5 entrees, 3 of which are chicken, one flounder and one Tilapia.  The cost for that would be $30.00 a person with gratuity, AND if we have a tax exempt certificate to present to them. I f we have to pay tax, it is approximately $32.00 a person. 

The second package is the Platinum Package where we still get a choice of 3 entrees but a huge variety.

The Platinum has a nice variety of steak, fish and chicken. I personally do not eat chicken…We can only have a choice of 3 entrees. 

The Platinum will cost us $40.00 a person which I have included tip in that price if we can produce a tax exempt certificate?  Do we have that Alan?

Both come with terrific appetizers, bread, salad, a pasta course and nonalcoholic beverages. We can bring wine or jugs of our own alcohol. They will provide an bucket with ice.

We have been to Mona Lisia many times, especially on a Wednesday night when they always have entertainment from 6-8pm. 

I will need a decision by this Saturday, November 13, 2021. I know it’s a bit short but places are filling up and on Sunday, I have to give a head count and  a small deposit. Also, I will be going thru some Radiation Treatments and do not know how I will feel for a few weeks..

When I get confirmation of 20 or more I will go to Mona Lisia on Sunday and commit. .Make sure you identify yourself on my cell as I do not have all ur numbers stored in my phone.  And please let me know what entrée choice you want. 

If we cannot get 20 people, I can make a reservation for those of us who want to get together and we can order off the regular menu, which is much more expensive.
