Vinnie,

Sorry to hear about the iMax. I am a fan of that antenna, but it is not
without its weak points.  Some owners have taken to keeping a spare on
hand, since they are cheap enough.  Others have gone to the HyGain,
Cushcraft, or Maco offerings after their iMax bit the dust.  In truth, any
of them are fine, because in most cases, one vertical is just as good ( or
bad ) as the next.  If my iMax broke tomorrow, I would probably replace it
with a Ringo, but the Maco V-58 is the best built of the bunch.  It just
costs more.  Good luck and hope you get back on 10m soon.
