Tony, if you already have an old Kenwood that still works well and like the
Kenwood features and interface (as I do), why not stick with Kenwood?
I currently have a TM-V71A on backorder at HRO, so I put my money where my
mouth is.
And I think the clubhouse uses one to host Echolink, so you could try it out
before buying.

Thanks Curt, and everyone else for the great answers!  I am not in a hurry,
and will continue to keep looking for a radio.  A lot of models are out of
stock, especially at HRO.  In the meantime, I am also watching the used
market just to see what is out there, and I will try to keep monitoring our
2m repeater and will put my call out there if I can.  73!
