[GCARC] FD Satellite Station Location

While we were working on the satellite antennas at the clubhouse yesterday the satellite team also scoped out the best location for the station for Field Day. The optimal location is where we have the best 360 degree view of the sky – where the clubhouse and trees are the lowest angle from the ground. It looks like that’s on the northeast side of the clubhouse about midway between the large tree and the pole on the clubhouse side of the gravel road. That’s about across the gravel road from where Herb was set up last year. It’s better than where we were last year where the treeline covered about 45 degrees of elevation to the east.

If it’s ok with others can we claim that spot for that station?
