The ARRL requires physical evidence via photos, for all bonus point entries.
1. Field Day information table requires a picture of the table, preferably with the club banner behind it, and also a visitors' log. The log need to be signed by all participants, visitors, including site visits. If we have literature, or ham radio brochures, put them out on the table. There should be a sign that says "Field Day Information Table, and there already may be one in the clubhouse.
1. As mentioned above, all site visits by agency, elected official, education class, etc, need to be photographed and signed.in log.
1. Take a picture of your generators, just to be on the safe side. Also, solar/alternate power, etc, take a picture.
1. Logs. All logs will be electronics, either via N3FJB https://www.n3fjp.com/fieldday.html, or N1MM. I have the club's N3FJP's club registration code and will send it out in an email. This is an idiot proof logger that is great for beginners and novices, and highly recommended. N1MM is free, but is really geared to the experienced contester. Do not use this logger at station where you have youth participation or GOTA, unless a club member is logging for the participants.
1. Paper Logs. In addition to the electronics logs, any bonus points should be duplicated on paper. For example, Herb's solar bonus need to have the first 5 logs both on the logger and on a sheet of paper, as to differentiate them as bonuses. The same goes for the under-18 year old participants. We will need their name and age on the paper log. After the bonuses have been satisfied, you no longer have to duplicate into the paper log. I think the total for paper logs should be 10 (5 for Solar and 5 for youth). No other paper logs will be accepted. My first year in 2009, someone submitted a paper log, and it was disastrous. instead of a neat logs, we got numerous sheets of paper in no order, and the worst possible handwriting you have ever seen. That was the last time we did paper logging.
If I miss anything, if so, please let me know. Any questions, please let me know.
Vinnie
