Just West of Valley Forge National Park, the Kimberton Hamfest is on for 2021. Bob Palin (N3JIZ) is hamfest chairman this year. Indoor vendors are encouraged to call him and reserve an indoor table. His email and phone number are on the flyer. http://www.marc-radio.org/HamFest21.pdf
We have a few additions -- indoor vendors please take note.
Kimberton fire company has re-modeled the interior of the building; The restroom are essentially the same (flush toilets), however the large doors that roll aside are gone, replaced with overhead garage doors. They added what looks like white corrugated steel siding to the interior walls which covers the ugly sprayed on insulation. The fire company requests anyone with a club or company banner to use magnets with hooks to attach them to the walls. NO TAPE. Also, if you need power, reserve a side table, not the center tables. The power drops are a pain to take down and put back up.
While this is definitely an upgrade, the the cost of renting the building has doubled. Bob and I spent some time July 4th weekend driving out to both the Harrisburg Firecracker Hamfest and the Wilkes Barre Murgas Hamfest just to hand out flyers to the vendors (and everyone else) and do a bit of advertising for Kimberton. I've posted pics of these trips on both the Warminster ARC and Penn Wireless Facebook pages.

Indoor space is 8ft long, table provided. Cost is $10 per table, 1 to 4 tables. When reserving 5 or more tables it drops to $8 per table. The guys/ girls from Penn Wireless will be renting a block of tables (already reserved) so we are getting the discount. You may wish to think about joining with your club and doing the same. Those who come out Friday afternoon and help with setup or work the parking lot Saturday morning will get an additional break. Talk to Bob about the details.
I will have a separate table setup and marked for "Donation Only". On that table I will have a lot of miscellaneous items and items that have not previously sold. One hundred percent of money collected in the can will go to the ALS Foundation. The last estate we handled (W3AEH) was a ham operator who died from complications to Lou Gehrig's Disease. This table will recognize Allan and two other Hams who have suffered similar fate.
