Hi Tom,
Well, I received an email with a link to the NJVSS site to schedule an appointment. And I had exactly the same problems with the site you described. Until this afternoon at about 3:30 pm. As I said in my earlier email, I was finally about to get an appointment for tomorrow morning. It was confirmed by email. About an hour later I received another email CANCELLING that appointment. It was for the Gloucester County Mega-site at Rowan. I never went there.
And John (Hill) ... I understood that you just had to be over 65 to qualify for the virus. You said you registered a second time ?? I wasn’t aware that you could or should register a second time.
I don’t know about your answers to the two questions. I answered them the same as you. Not employed and not immuno - compromised.
Good luck everyone. 73, Chuck

Chuck,
Please advise where you went.
I was notified last Saturday that I'm approved for the vaccine now but I had absolutely no success with the NJVSS in scheduling an appointment.
Did you go to the GC Mega site at Rowan with an address of 1400 Tanyard Rd in Sewell?
Regards,
Tom Gorman, KE2ES

Darrell, Tony,
I just went in to the Vaccine appointment site and got an appointment at the Rowan site for tomorrow at 10:00 AM. There were at least 30 appointment slots available. I previously tried unsuccessfully many times to get an appointment there.

I had signed up at the NJ portal about 10 days ago (here is the link https://covidvaccine.nj.gov/ ). I am 68 years old which alone is enough to qualify me for category 1b, but I also have 4 additional risk factors. I received an initial email saying I would be notified of the site list. Sure enough I received it, and it contained a useful link to schedule my appointment with a search engine for available appointments at all the sites in NJ (you had to set the parameter to search up to 100 miles from your zip code to maximize this).

But you have to keep refreshing the page and trying frequently. They are constantly updating both available sites as well as aJust last night a list available appointment times for those sites. 10 appointment slots showed up for Rowan. I grabbed one for today at 10A and it let me confirm it!

The entire process from start to finish was about 30 minutes, not bad, steady stream of patients, and check in was handled by the NJ National Guard.

Because you registered through their system, they will automatically book your 2nd dose appointment and you will receive another email with the date/time to show up and it has to be at the same site.
