[GCARC] A Contest for us "Little Guns"

Hi All,

            If you avoid contests because you are not a "Big Gun" with a
kilowatt and a beam, you cannot copy CW at 30 WPM and cannot sit still for a
whole weekend, why not try a QRP Sprint?

            The QRP ARCI Holiday Sprints Contest runs for 3 hours on Sunday
and you are NOT limited to QRP . . . the power merely affects your
multiplier.

            Also, most operators use "General Class" CW speed, which is good
for those of us who are a bit rusty, and they are patient when repeats are
requested.

            After all, some operators are struggling with primitive,
homebrew equipment.  But you can use whatever you have, even with all the
bells and whistles.

            See the URL below for rules.  Look for my station (W2KBF, ARCI
member #8355) on 40 meters.  I will be running 5 watts with my OHR QRP
Spirit (kit radio).
