[GCARC] "Newbie" Tech Saturday is This Saturday

Tech Saturday is back for October and will be a primarily-outside event focused on assisting new hams find their best areas of interest in the hobby. Tables and pop-ups will be outside showing how to program common HTs with the local repeater frequencies, the AREDN microwave mesh networking system being developed, the 3D-printed SatNOGS rotator that N3PUU and K2ZA have built, an SDR local and satellite station, DMR radios and a hotspot to connect DMR and System Fusion, and others. Limited visits inside the clubhouse for HF contacts, viewing the ongoing EME contest operations and some satellite operations will also occur. The overall goal is to show off the Clubhouse and other interesting projects to new hams and build interest in GCARC membership. If you're a new ham, VE, Elmer or friend of one bring them out to Tech Saturday and get them interested in GCARC activities.
