Hello all,
I just finished replacing the keyboard on my HP Elitebook 840 G3 laptop.
The S key broke off, but it's otherwise in great shape. It should fit any of the HP Elitebook laptop series. It's a backlit keyboard. The backlit cable is attached to the keyboard, likewise the motherboard cable. However, the regular cable connecting from the keyboard to the key control zif plug did not come with my new keyboard so I had to keep it. You would need one of those. Note that you may have an HP laptop without the backlight but you can convert it with this keyboard.

Only the key cover with the letter is missing, the s key still works fine, just has no cover. These are $42 on Amazon.

Let me know if you can use it, otherwise into the trash it goes in a few days.
