[GCARC] Great day for a fox hunt!

Here’s a couple things I learned:
1. Don’t rely on your HT rubber ducky antenna to hit the repeater until you
get real close. :) i couldnt hit the repeater until I was almost off 55.
And yes, I checked that I wasn’t on low power. Hihi! I ordered something
for the car for next time. 😊
2. It’s really easy to go outside the boundaries. We found ourselves 5
miles away from the transmitter at one point. Being more aware of the
distance would have sped things up.
3. Leave earlier than you think you should - Jim starts stuff on time, and
there’s traffic on nice days!
What other tips did people figure out today? Hope everyone else had fun!
