Hello club members!
the weather is supposed to be excellent tomorrow, Saturday.
Why not roll down the car windows and come on out for a stay-in-your car
hidden transmitter fox hunt for a hour in the early afternoon?
>From 1 to 2 PM this Saturday,
Just home in on it by the strength of how well you can receive the
transmission.
Frequency: 146.565 simplex. mode FM
It will be in public place, and you will not have to get out of your car in
these times of Covid to find it.
Fun for the whole family!
Check in with me on our club's 2 meter repeater by 1pm, so that I know who
is hunting, and so I will know who is still hunting by 2pm and give clues
to over the air to talk you in to the finish if have not found it by then.
Where will it be?
"Somewhere in Gloucester County" is too big a search area.
So here is your first clue.....
Do you know the Heritage Winery is on route 322, near where Harrisonville
Rd intersects route 322?
It won't be there.
But if you use this as a reference point, you'll be within 3 miles of where
it will be hidden!
Good luck and Happy hunting!
See you all at the finish line on Saturday!
