Welcome back to the fold! Remember, it always better to inside the tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in! 
On a more serious note, this is a very unusual time. You'd think the league would show more flexibility to ensure participation, particularly given the age demographic of the membership. There's a good portion of us (including moi) who are in the Covid 19 danger zone.
Too bad. We'll see where we are in a couple of weeks.

Yes, they surely do!  I had let my ARRL membership expire years ago, and
every time I would think about re-applying for membership, they would do
something to seriously piss me off.  This went on for about five years,
until a couple of weeks ago, when I realized that it had been a while since
they pissed me off.  So I signed up again, for a two year membership.
Before I even got my first issue of QST, they have managed to piss me off
twice in two weeks!  Serves me right for being gullible,  I got what I
deserved. But at least now I can bitch at them again!
