[GCARC] BF 888s

Hello everyone. My name is David (KB3VEO) and I'm new here, I hope to meet a lot of you at ham fest. Here is my question. I have a bunch of BF 888s and I am reprogramming them with GMRS frequencies. I save it to the radio and it works, but when I'm not transmitting all I hear is static. I changed the gain to max and still static. I changed it from wide to narrow and still static. It's very frustrating. Any help would be awesome. ThanksDave KB3VEO
