[GCARC] The Clubhouse is a dangerous place HIHI

All,

Well I am home from the hospital. Everything is back in place.

 

I was sitting (I did not fall, that was last year) on a picnic table bench.
I went to stand up, I felt something in my right hip (the replacement) move
and had to sit right down. I could not stand up. My phone was in the
trailer. This was about 4:30 pm. I waited for someone to show up. Jon Pearce
came by at about 6:00pm. Jon called 911 and the EMTs picked me up. In the
hospital, they took an x-ray that clearly showed that the hip came apart. In
the ER, they tried a procedure under partial anesthesia to pull on my leg to
put the hip back together, no luck. The same procedure was done in the OR
under general anesthesia on Thursday afternoon and that worked. I now have a
brace on my right to keep it straight.

 

Other than that, life is good!
