[GCARC] Field Day 2020 will be on in some form!

A lot will depend on where we are in the beginning of June with state rules. If we have it at the clubhouse, it may have to be closed to the public and we have to practice the typical social distancing standards. That should not be a problem, except in the clubhouse, which we may have to put a limit on how many people can be in there are once.


Then there is a plan B. The ARRL is asking that  if you cannot have a Field Day out in the "Field", then run a 1E (Home station with emergency power). I am well set up to run for a 1E with my team  at home. I would encourage everyone to have this as a backup plan. We can discuss both plans at the Field Day meeting at the clubhouse.

Lastly, if we do have to get within 6' of each other, we can use the club's sacrificial lamb chairman, Herb KT2Y.
