[GCARC] Pork Island

Good Afternoon All,


I was having problems with my Comcast e-mail account so I could not announce, yesterday, that Pork Island has now been activated by Joe (N2CX) and myself.  It was a great day at the shore with sunshine and light winds.  Just so everyone knows, we will be on the hunt for more islands as time goes by but we can always go back, as per USIslands Awards rules, to any other island we wish, on their list, to Activate again and again.  Those stations that are participating in the program are "collecting" locations aimed at awards and do welcome the times when these islands go back on the air.
