Hi Guys,
to get a club score for "Gloucester Co ARC" in any ARRL contest, like the
January VHF contest this weekend, it seems we need to pre-register a list
of member callsigns under that club name who _might_ submit scores.
Details are in the updated section 8 of ARRL's general contest rules,
http://www.arrl.org/general-rules-for-all-arrl-contests#Club_Competition.
Tony WA2FZB, our contest chair is willing to work with me to do this for
this weekend, if we give him a hint of who from the club might be
interested in submitting a score under 'Gloucester Co ARC', rather than a
different club name.
We'll register 'Gloucester Co ARC' under the "local" category, assuming we
can get 3-10 people to reply to this email saying yes. Only requirements
are that you are on our club's roster (a member in good standing), and that
you live within 35 miles of the Pitman water tower (grid square FM29kr,
picked as W2MMD's registered center grid square here in Gloucester
County). Replying 'yes' doesn't mean you have to, just that you might.
Tony, so you can put me on the list: N2GXJ, FM29kr. That's one.
Any others?
[Only reply if you're a "yes" please, to reduce the email spam.]
Thank you!
Jim
