[GCARC] LOTW

Hi Ken,
You will upload your log using the tQsl program that you need to install. Your Winlog32 should be able to export your log in adif format (the standard format used by all major programs to convert logs to their own format). You then open your adif file with the tQsl program. ARRL will email you a "signing certificate" that proves it is you. You have to request this, as I recall through the tQsl program. TQsl will then upload automatically to lotw.
Yes, once your log is uploaded, the system will identify all matches and provide a grid showing per band/mode breakdown. You won't get official DXCC credit until you pay the per card match fee(easily done at the lotw site).

It's great to see your matches roll in. Some dxpeditions upload logs before they return home, a real treat when that happens.

So, I installed and signed up for Log Book of the World, now waiting for the
postcard with my password. I may need some guidance on how to use it. As I
upload contacts, does it automatically confirm those contacts toward DXCC,
etc? Hopefully, my logging pgm will upload my contacts in the correct format
for LOTW. If not, I guess I need to get a new logging pgm. Now using
Winlog32. Things have certainly changed since 1963!
