The Russian crew on the International Space Station is scheduled to transmit pictures from the ISS this weekend. The downlink is on 145.800 FM and uses the PD-120 SSTV model that can be received with most SSTV programs including those that run on handheld devices. The signal from the ISS is very strong and should be readable using an HT. There are two high-elevation passes tomorrow (June 29),one at 6:09 AM and one at 10:38 AM. Other passes will occur over the weekend. More information is at https://amsat-uk.org/2018/06/27/receive-sstv-from-space/. Pass information for any ham satellite can be viewed at https://www.amsat.org/track/index.php.
