Our monthly Board of Directors Meeting is coming up on Wednesday, July 18,
2018 @ 1900 Hours at our Clubhouse in Mullica Hill, NJ. All members are
welcome to attend.

 

The weekly 10M Ragchew Net is happening on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 @ 2000
Hours on 28.465 MHz or 28.275 MHz.

 

Friday, July 20, 2018 is the deadline for articles for the August 2018
Crosstalk magazine.

 

Matt N2EEE was telling me that Rowan University just had a ham radio related
cube satellite launched from the ISS. I think an article about the
development of this satellite in our own backyard would make a great story.
HINT HINT!

 

We had a great turn-out for our Tech Saturday. We must have had at least 20
people come by the Clubhouse in the 3+ hour session. We had some new hams
and members, as well as veteran members. Jon WB2MNF gave a demonstration of
the satellite station to a crowded VHF room. Urb W1UL also gave
demonstration of the HF station in a very crowded HF room and hallway. There
was various discussions, from remote ham operating to piloting airplanes and
helicopters. This Tech Saturday turn-out is something we all would like to
see every month.

 

A hardy congratulations to our new Vice President, Jim Clark KA2OSV. Being
VP is a tough job, having to arrange the programs every month. Just remember
Jim, you are just a heart-beat away from the big chair!

 

What types of programs, subjects, etc. would you like to see presented at
our meeting ? Do you know someone who would like to give a presentation to
