[GCARC] W2MMD takes Second Place in SJRA ARC QSO Party Contest

Hi All,

In addition to being a member of the GCARC, I am also a member of the SJRA and much to my surprise after reading this months Newsletter from SJRA, to learn that W2MMD took Second Place in the Large Club category in the SJRA ARC QSO Party Contest.  This win was due to the efforts of myself, KA2OSV; Ken, N2CQ; and Bill. W4WCS putting W2MMD on the air during the contest.

We will be presented with a  Plaque, given to W2MMD at a future meeting by SJRA's Club President Ken BOTTERBRODT, K2WB at a future meeting.  Possibly our February meeting if the Plaques are ready.  I might add that we missed placing FIRST by a very small margin.  Last year SECOND Place, this year we are planning on taking FIRST Place.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank myself, Ken and Bill for making this win possible.  As we use to say in the Navy "BRAVO ZULU" (Well Done).
