BTW – this new satellite has high passes over this area between 8:30 and 9 AM over the next few days, starting around 8:30 AM today and getting a few minutes later each day. It should be audible on an HT on 145.920. Note that it only sends a short voice transmission every 2 minutes, so you’ll need to continue to monitor to catch a transmission. It’s not open yet for QSOs but you should be able to year hear it.

Subject: Copying telemetry from the new Fox1Cliff satellite at the GCARC clubhouse

Fox1Cliff was successfully launched last night, and we were able to copy several telemetry frames from a pass this morning. Here’s how we did it: http://w2mmdsatellite.blogspot.com/2018/12/w2mmd-satellite-station-copies-early.html
