All,

Our last General Membership Meeting of 2018 is coming up on Wednesday,
December 5, 2018 @ 1930 Hours at the Pfeiffer Community Center in
Williamstown. Our featured speaker will be a Skype presentation by Josh
Nass, KI6NAZ. He will be talking about DIY antennas. Also on the agenda will
be the election of 2019 Club officers, we will have a Petty's Island update,
and if there is time, a year-in-review.

 

Speaking of Petty's Island, the DXpedition qualification special event is
happening on Saturday, December 8, 2018. Please check out the W2MMD Special
Event Station page on the website for more information. On the same page you
will find a video I created using the pictures that Mark took when he went
on a tour of the island on September 22, 2018. It was the first time I did
something like that, so let me know what you think of the video. Mark will
give any last minute updates on Wednesday.

 

Our last Tech Saturday Forum of 2018 is on Saturday, December 8, 2018 @ 0900
Hours at our W2MMD Clubhouse. Paul Lamhut, WB2HHH, will give presentation
about DMR. There will be time after the presentation for any questions, not
just about DMR, but any Amateur Radio topics you would more information
about.

 

Don't forget the 10M Rag Chew Net on Tuesday night and the 2M Rag Chew Net
on Thursday night. Both @ 2000 Hours.

 

Everyone is welcome to our meetings, events, and activities.

 

Refreshments and snacks will be served (No, I will NOT be serving coffee on
Petty's Island, you will have to get your own!) HI HI
