Hi Jim,

Anyone can get 1 X 1 special events call for a two week period of time.
They are not issued by the FCC. The NJDXA got W2H for the 75
anniversary of the crash of the Hindenburg. We had over 900 QSOs
in 105 countries in three day at Lakehurst. Overall 2500 QSO with
118 countries.

It is not a unique call. Someone else could be W2G two weeks later.

Special event calls tend to generate a lot of traffic
