Glenn,
Bring your radio out to this Tech Saturday. I am sure someone there will be able to help you.

Subject: [GCARC] Question
Hello;
This is glenn N2yio back when I first joined the club and I was working with Charlie Sketchley and he was trying to motivate me to upgrade from a no code tech and learn code so I could have HF prevledges he sold me a Yaesu Ft100f rig well I lost interest for a few years untill retired three years ago and I went to a Garc hamfest and bought a handheld a Bofang 5rv and I started to get the bug again then I bought a mobile and am using it as a base.
I rejoined the club and tried to attend the meetings but my mother got real sick and I had to start taking care of her so I haven’t been able to make any meetings or other activities but I now understand that that techs now have prevledges on 10m and since I have the FT100f I would like to see if I could maybe get on but since the radio has been sitting in my basement for so long I’m not sure what condition it is in
I was wandering if I brought it down to the tech Saturday this weekend if someone could take it and look it over and let me know if it is ok.
I wouldn’t be able to stay on Saturday because of my mother’s illness but I would be able to drop it off.
I’m in no hurry because I still have to get some stuff to make a dipole and since I have never soldered before I would need to pratice up on that too .
So if someone could get back to me and let me know if it would be ok to drop the radio off and look it over for me I would appreciate it very much.
Thank you very much ,
Glenn dougherty
