[GCARC] Volunteers Needed to Assist w/ Activities

Afternoon all,

I am forwarding this request from the Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland. 

I volunteered there for several years. It is an awesome facility, built
recently.

It can be very rewarding to give of yourself for those that gave to this
GREAT Country.

Good morning all,

We are in need of volunteers who are interested in conducting activities in
our activity rooms.  These activities may consist of games and puzzles,
current events, trivia, showing a movie, a social, etc.  We are in most need
of assistance in the evenings (6pm-7:30pm and on the weekends (any time
between 9am-3pm)  

We will provide a training to anyone interested in assisting with this
volunteer work.  All supplies will be set up for our volunteers for all of
the activities. 

We will hold training sessions on Tuesday, 9/12 at 10:30am-12pm and
Thursday, 9/14 at 1pm-2:30pm. You only need to attend one session.  

Please respond to this email if you are interested in this volunteer
opportunity.   As always, I truly appreciate all of your support and
assistance that you provide to our residents and to the Vineland Veterans
Home.
