ATTENTION GCARC MEMBERS. WE NEED SOME VOLUNTEERS TO SET UP A HAM RADIO DEMO STATION AT BSA CAMP GRICE THE WEEKEND OF 
OCTOBER 27TH-OCTOBER 29TH.  ONE DAY ONLY. HOW WOULD YOU LIKE TO BE HEROS TO SOME VERY EXCITED SCOUT GROUPS?? WE HAVE BEEN 
ASKED FOR VOLUNTEERS IN THE PAST BUT HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY VOLUNTEERS. WE LET THE GIRL SCOUTS DOWN WHEN THEN ASKED FOR 
VOLUNTEERS. HOW ABOUT WE SET UP AND HELP THE FUTURE HAM RADIO OPERATORS. I KNOW A NUMBER OF GROWN UPS WHO GOT THEIR 
INTEREST FROM THE SCOUTS. THAT INCLUDES ME. IF YOU CAN HELP GIVE ME A CALL AND LETS SEE WHAT WE CAN SET UP. DONT THINK 
SOMEONE ELSE IS GOING TO DO IT, IT'S ALL ABOUT WHAT "WE" CAN DO AS A CLUB.

Question: The Zombie Apocalypse has befallen onto the human race, leaving the entireworld in a ruined frenzy of chaos and disorder. What do you do?Answer: You Survive or Die.What Is This? 



Offered this fall at Camp Grice from October 27th-29th, the BaySea Districtwill be hosting its’ annual Fall Camporee on the theme of surviving the worst possiblething imaginable, the Zombie Apocalypse. 


Some of the things for the weekend include:Salem County OEM and CERT demonstrations, Zombie Coffin Race, Trade-O-Ree,Ham Radio, Multiple Outside Vendors and Displays, ZERT demonstration andstaging area, Tomahawk and Knife Throwing, Archery, and much more!When Is It? 


The Zombie Survival Fall Camporee is being held from Friday October 27th,2017 to Sunday October 29th, 2017. Units are asking to arrive starting at 5:00pm on Friday,with dismissal being after 10:00am on Sunday. 


Where? The camporee is being held at Camp Grice as apart of Roosevelt ScoutReservation, located at 384 Watsons Mill Road, Elmer, NJ. Units will be given a sitelocation once they are fully registered and paid. 


NOTE NO FEE FOR US. What Is the Cost? The cost of the event is $7.00 per person with registering beforeOctober 21st. After October 21st, the registration fee will jump to $10.00 per person.
