SO HAPPY WE HAVE BUILT A BRIDGE FROM OUR VISIT TO
THEIR BEAUTIFUL CAM AND TO MEET THEIR KIDS. I UNDERSTAND
THAT THEY WERE ABOUT 100 KIDS DOWN FROM USUAL. SO MANY
OF US WERE INTRODUCED TO HAM RADIO AS KIDS. WE HOPE WE
CAN GET MORE RECRUITS IN THE FUTURE.

Bob
I currently serve as President of the Garden State Council of the BSA. I want to thank you and the officers of the GCARC for the support that is given to our youth.
My term as President of the council is up at the end of January of 2018.
One of my unfulfilled goals was to establish an amateur station at Camp Roosevelt with the support of our club.
When the heavy duties of serving the council are lifted I wound like to move back to toward that objective.
I also hope that I will be able to attend some of club meetings again....
I look forward to being a bridge between our club and the Garden State Council...
All my best
Brian

There is an interest in doing the radio merit badge with a few of the older scouts. At our leader's meeting last night, it was requested to have HAM radio come out to future camporee.
