Hi Darrin....
Speaking for our group I must tell you we all had a very enjoyable time with the kids and their leaders.
I handed out info on the club and perhaps in the future we can get some of the kids and their leaders
into classes, either for Tech license and/or the Radio Merit Badge. We do have some enthusiastic
teachers within our club. We will study this and see what we can put together in the near future.
I have to thank Mark for being so open with the kids and helping some of them talk on his equipment.
Jen was also a BIG help greeting the kids and explaining what they were seeing while Mark was
talking on the radio. We certainly hope to do more with the council kids in the near future.
All in all it was a wonderful way to spend my birthday, out in the beautiful woods and enjoying
the my ham radio friends and the very enthusiastic kids.

I want to say thank you very much for coming out yesterday to our camporee. The scouts did enjoy it and were still talking about talking to Canada where it was snowing and Germany. There is an interest in doing the radio merit badge with a few of the older scouts. At our leader's meeting last night, it was requested to have HAM radio come out to future camporee.
Once again thank you very much for coming out and giving the scouts a memorable experience.
