My youngest brother Larry sails the ocean blue on Naval Ships as a civilian employee.
Next year will mark 30 years at sea. In between voyages he is an active ham radio
Operator (N6HPX), in addition to the other calls he holds. He also is an very active short
Wave listener. He is a member of several ham clubs down there in the Philippines also
He spends equal time on HF Voice as well as JT65. He has thousands of QSL cards,
And yet uses only a vertical and wire antennas due to the storms down then.
