This coming Wednesday, August 2, 2017, is our monthly General Membership
Meeting @ 1930 Hours at the Pfeiffer Community Center in Williamstown, NJ.
Skip Arey, N2EI, SNJ Section Manager, will give a report on current ARRL
activities. Sheldon Parker, K2MEN, Hamfest co-chairman, will give a brief
presentation concerning Hamfest activity volunteer sign-ups. This Hamfest is
set to be a BIG one and with 40 DAYS left to go, your club needs your help.

 

This Saturday, August 5, 2017, is our monthly Tech Saturday Forum @ 0900
Hours at our Clubhouse in Mullica Hill, NJ. John K2ZA will continue the
discussion started last month about setting up and configuring the Raspberry
Pi. This month's focus is on the "Magical Command Line".

 

Thursday night @ 2000 Hours is the weekly 10 Meter Ragchew Net on 28.475 MHz
or 28.465 MHz.

 

I have created a page on the website called" 2017 Hamfest Sign-Up Sheet". It
is the same signup sheets that Sheldon will have at the meeting Wednesday
night. If you cannot make it to the meeting, but want it volunteer for the
Hamfest, fill out the on-line signup sheet. Come-on, give it a try, sign-up.

 

P.S. Yeah, I know, our Hamfest just happens to be on the same day as the
start of football season. And as a die-hard Eagles fan, I know I am going to
miss most of the game, if not all, but I do all my Club volunteer work for
one reason: Doug Gehring WA2NPD. Those is the Club who knew this MAN, will
understand.
