[GCARC] New Digital Mode

Good Morning All,


As some of you probably know, there is a new addition to the Joe Taylor family of weak signal digital modes.  It is called FT8 and it very different from JT9/JT65 in that the TX portion is now 15 seconds as opposed to 48 seconds.  The new version of WSJT-x , 1.8.0, which is now available on the website, has this mode included in the software  https://physics.princeton.edu/pulsar/k1jt/wsjtx.html.
