[GCARC] AM Broadcast Buzzing noise

Does anyone have a broadband RF sniffer? I am getting a loud buzzing noise on about 650-680 KHz on the AM broadcast band. I have used a portable AM radio to narrow it to a couple poles. AC Electric was out here, spent about 1/2 hour and it did nothing.


The noise is not coming from my house, as I shut down the mains, and the noise is still there. It also seems to be louder at the AC receptacles and switches, meaning the wiring is acting like an antenna.


What I really need is someone to pinpoint it to a pole or source.


I listen to AMBC all the time, and usually at 660 KHz. I now am rendered helpless by this noise, and it would happen on the one station I listen to most often.
