Come on you creative Hams out there!
Last chance to get a design in for our club's electronic QSL card for Field
Day!
Submit any entry to me as soon as you can.
To get your selection in to the next Crosstalk, it has to be to me by
Thursday evening (extended by one day).
We'll vote on the choices at the June club meeting.
Thanks!
Jim, n2gxj

Copied from the May Crosstalk:

We are having a contest for club members to design the eQSL card for W2MMD
that we will use this year to represent our club, our county, and our state
to the rest of the radio world when they make contacts with us, starting
with Field Day this year.

The rules are simple. We want to give all members the opportunity to vote
on the card candidates in time for a selection to be made for our field day
this year. So, the winning card will be voted on and selected by the
members present at the regularly scheduled June club meeting. To have the
candidates evaluated ahead of the June meeting, we would like to publish
them on our web site, and in our Crosstalk magazine, in time for
publication of the June issue. To manage that, we’re asking that you
submit your entries via email to me, jim<dot>n2gxj<at>gmail<dot>com by
midnight on Wednesday May 20. You may submit more than one entry, but if
you do, make sure they have different file names. If you want to submit
any explanation of your design in text along with your entry, you may do so.

The requirements for the image your are submitting are as follows (per
eQSL): Design a GIF or JPG format graphic card that will look good when it
is shrunk to 528 pixels wide by 336 pixels high. Callsign W2MMD, our qsl
address, clubsite’s grid locator, and all other static information needs to
be on the graphic. Leave space for QSO details to be automatically printed
in a shaded area at bottom of card overlaid onto the background, as shown
in the example card below.

Good luck everyone. I look forward to seeing your entries by May 20!
