In adding what Ken says, in the past, there were 2 ways to waterproof if people were using a tent.
One way was to put a tarp over the tent. Doug Gehring and the the 40M CW guys did this if there was any threat of rain.
The other way was to use waterproofer on the tent itself. I am not familiar with this at all.
In any case, if it rains (unless there thunder in which case we shut down), the old motto is "when all else fails", and NOT "when all else fails unless it rains." LOL
