All,
The deadline for articles for the February 2015 Crosstalk is Thursday,
January 22, 2015.
I am still looking for a reporter who can conduct club member interviews.
Just a little article about the member, their shack, equipment, how they got
started in Amateur Radio, etc.
You can also submit your own article about yourself, even if it is just a
picture of your shack. Mark Gottlieb, WA2DIY has submitted a picture of his
shack for the February issue.
How about reporting on any DIY projects you have going on in your shack. I
received a Raspberry Pi micro-computer board for Christmas. I am in the
process of learning how to use and program it. I then will see what ham
radio projects I can create with it. I hope to submit an article or two on
the uses of the Raspberry Pi and ham radio.
If anyone else is using a Raspberry Pi (or any micro-computer board, i.e.
Arduino) in your ham shack, let us know. (HINT-HINT, Dan)
You can also submit any certificates you have won or any interesting QSL
cards you have obtained. Ken Newman, N2CQ, has submitted for February, two
certificates that he has recently won.
Once again, a big thank you to all who participate in creating the Crosstalk
every month.
This is YOUR newsletter, YOUR website, and YOUR club! Your participation is
not only welcome, but is needed for it to grow and prosper.
Thanks
D. Jeffrey Garth
