Whitney H. Myers (1922 - 2015) KB2ZTL 

AGE: 93 • Laurel Springs 

Whitney H. Myers, on December 15, 2015, of Laurel Springs, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loved ones. Born on April 18, 1922 in Pitman, NJ, he was the beloved husband of the late Violet M. Myers (nee Nelson) for 68 years. Loving uncle to Patricia (Jeffrey) Slimm, Denise (Tom) Weiss, Deborah (Bud) Seitzinger, Kathleen Lynch, David (Linda) Myers, Wayne Myers and Elizabeth Chilcote. Great uncle of 12 and Great-Great uncle of 4. Whitney served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked as a Highway Supervisor for the State of New Jersey. He was a member of Laurel Lodge #237 F&AM, where he formally served as Past Master, and belonged to the Excelsior Consistory and the Crescent Shrine Temple. Whitney was also a lifetime member of the NJ Beach Buggy Association, and the ARRL for Amateur Radio. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday evening 7-9pm , with Masonic Services starting at 7:30pm at the: ORA L. WOOSTER FUNERAL HOME, 51 Park Blvd., Clementon, NJ 08021. There will also be a viewing Tuesday morning 9:30-10am, with Funeral Services starting at 10am. Interment: Downer Cemetery, Williamstown.
