[GCARC] Lucky 13 for HRO

If anyone has wondered about the health of Ham Radio Outlet and the amateur radio market in our current economic environment, then a good indicator just popped up.  HRO will be opening a 13th store in Plano, TX.  Plans include a serious distribution center.

Although not in their back yard, exactly, this will give the rapidly-growing Main Trading ( www.mtcradio.com ) in Paris, TX some "local" competition.  Being located in the heart of 5-land fills in a hole in HRO's coverage map.  I guess the next time I'm traveling to the DFW area, I'll have to stop in.

Still, my favorite will be our nearby store in New Castle, DE...
