As someone who watched every episode of the original Stat Trek series on TV, I'm happy to let you know
STAR TREK CONTINUES in a webseries which carries on the original five-year mission.
The original Star Trek series was supposed to be a 5 year mission. The
series only lasted 3 years... until now. Star Trek Continues, a web-based,
high-budget, fan-made web series will continue and complete the 5 year
mission. The first three episodes are finished and online for viewing. How
they managed to keep the exact look and feel of the original series is
completely amazing to me.

Review: I just watched the First Episode, "PILGRIM OF ETERNITY".
Where Apollo returns to wreak havoc on Kirk and the Enterprise in the first episode of the new series.
I really enjoyed it.
The actors strongly resemble the original cast, the sets are accurate, as are the sounds and special effects.
VIC MIGNOGNA as Capt. James T. Kirk has all his mannerisms down pact.
CHRIS DOOHAN as chief engineer Lt. Cmdr. Montgomery Scott plays a believable "Scottie". If the name sounds familiar, it is, it's because he is the son of James Doohan the original Star Trek "Scottie".
Visit the web page which has more information and also the first three episodes. If you loved the original Star Trek, you won't be disappointed.
