Ladies and Gentleman,

As, is evidenced, by Ray and Bill, there are problems with getting flats at
the Club Site.

I had tried to warn everyone while I was still there and during my tenure as
PM for the trailer project.

FYI, the problem originated when the old trailer was demolished. We removed
all windows and glass from the trailer. We could not remove all the nails
screws and sheet metal that literally flew off the trailer as it was
demolished.

The area to be concerned with is directly south and south-east of the
existing trailer. Extending almost to the access road. Do not park in front
of the trailer. Park east or north of the trailer. 

I don't have the fix. One of the recommendations was to drag the property
with  magnets. That does not help with any aluminum. Maybe the 4H parkers
will pick up some of the refuse with their tires:)

FYI, 

          I haven't sent out the pictures today as I have not been feeling
good for the last two weeks.

I went to Westville Grove today at St. John of God School on Delsea Drive to
pick up more donations. 

Bill Price NJ2S & Kevin Hall KD2FFZ are working there and Bill got a bunch
of 2 by 4's and a door for the

VHF room. Thanks Guys !!!!!

 

          When I took this project on I never thought that I would be
running all over Southern New Jersey collecting 

materials and going to the dump with my trailer and using my trailer, for a
lot of things which had to be picked up..

I didn't think my truck and trailer was part of the deal.......

 

          As a matter of fact I had to buy two new tires for my trailer
because of  screws, nails, and glass at the site. 

Both tires got destroyed so bad they couldn't be repaired. So off to
Fazzio's for the new ones. $ 207.00  ugh...

Then I got a flat on my truck the same day bill Price's got a flat at the
site. Watch where you park out there..

Because I'm out there so much I guess I have more opportunity to have a
problem. We should all bring out 

rakes and shovels etc., to clean the grounds up. And we still need more of
the club members to show up !!!!!!

Two Saturday's ago we picked up a lot of glass and jagged metal pieces and
broken glass on the left side of the 

shed, and around the trailer, so watch where you drive out there.  

          Saturday work party will start at 9 AM.
