FYI

I didn't have time to put out an update last week or to send out the new
pictures that were taken.

Between life, liberty, politics, family, doctors, Veterans Administration
and the pursuit of happiness I have been a very busy person. By the way I'm
very disappointed at the amount of people in this organization that never
show up for the work parties. It seems the same people are showing up all
the time to do the work, very discouraging to say the least.

May 3rd.

All the new donated tables and chairs were put in place, the old furniture
removed to out back for disposal.

Air conditioner installed in the HF room by Bill Price and Kevin Hall.

Shed area on the west side of the shed was cleaned up, and items removed for
disposal.

Shelving was installed in the kitchen area (now known as: Wayne's World,
that is WA2LET's field day cooking area).

Shelving installed in the bathroom.

Plastic conduit going to the middle of the field was put underground at the
front of the trailer.

The garden hose and hanger was installed out front.

Al Arrison climbed the tower and installed the wireless internet interlink.

General cleanup and relocation of all the paper products needed for normal
operation.

My trailer got loaded with all the removal items, Frank Messick W2FJM and
Kevin Hall KD2FFZ went with me to the dump and unloaded the trailer.

May 10th.

All of the left over cinder blocks were put into my trailer and moved to the
west side of the shed. Hot & sweaty work.

A little bit of weed whacking was done to the front of the trailer.

Alpha-Delta DX-LB PLUS fan trap dipole was bought Tuesday and installed
Wednesday = 10 to 160 meter antenna.

Weights for the dipole were installed on both ends.

Wireless Internet service got installed in the trailer.

Remaining gear is still being brought back and installed in the assigned
rooms.

General clean up was performed as things were getting a little dusty and
dirty.

A lot of items were recovered from the filing cabinets and put into place.

Conversation in reference to a better lock for the front door was discussed,
Bill Price called Bob Sweeten (Redhawk Lock Smith) who actually is on
vacation this week but he came out to discuss options. After everything was
talked about Bob donated a bank security lock valued at $ 500.00.. and he
will be back to install it. It is a five digit entry rugged security lock so
we can get rid of the front door key system.

I am going to buy a 6 digit lock for the HF room door. As a matter of fact
I'm talking to Bill Price on the phone right now and he is at Lowe's so I
told him to see if they have a 5 digit security lock for the HF room there.
If so I told him to buy it and I will reimburse him. When the wall is put up
for the VHF room another identical lock will be added.

The skirting for the front and both sides has been ordered but it isn't in
yet. We will use the skirting from the old trailer on the back side of the
trailer.

In ref to the wall for the VHF room, Bill Price is donating the 2 by 4's,
and pre hung door, they will be delivered next Saturday if not sooner

That's is for now I have to go to Stockton College for a graduation ceremony
and festivities for the rest of the day..

73's to all Ray W2RM Site Replacement Chairman.
