Today I went to the site, Frank Messick, Bill Price, Kevin Hall, and Nick
(who is one of Price's workers) came out to do some work. Here is what got
done....

The storm window in the HF room is now replaced. I took the measurements to
Ace Hardware and they cut the new glass and Kevin and Nick installed it. I
get a 10% discount from them also.

Frank Messick put down the dirt at the bottom of the skirting yesterday, he
did a good job.

Bill bought the 220 volt AC power cord for the stove and I reimbursed him,
Nick installed it and it was put in place, everything works fine.

The guys installed the range hood with light and fan over the stove. It
works fine.

The main table was cleared, the sheetrock and paneling was moved out of the
way.

The grass was cut this morning, the site looks nice.

Sometime last week Sheldon Parker K2MEN rebuilt the front door frame and
reinstalled the front door and fixed the siding around the door. Nice job !

A few days ago the electric wires were removed from the telephone poles so
as not to interfere with field day antennas.

Chuck WA2TML informed me that the insurance adjuster was there yesterday and
there are two items that have to be addressed.

I will take care of one item ( fire extinguishers ) and the other item will
be to adjust the back steps, the adjuster said that

they wobble and have to be braced. I will put that on the punch list. Two by
fours are in the shed.

So here's the punch list:

1. Cory has to cut in the CAT 5 jacks.

2. We need a donation of a USB keyboard and USB mouse for the
cameras to be controlled.

3. We need a donation of an air conditioner, 220 VAC at least
18,000 BTU for the main room.

4. The back door floor has to be completed.

5. The dirt that was delivered has to be spread out. The ruts
have to be filled in more and leveled.

6. Al Arrison has to determine how much skirting is needed to
finish the job, then I will call the supplier to come and get the
remainder so the bill will be lower than needing to use all of the skirting.
This is a priority!!!

This will cut the cost of the skirting down from $ 950 to
somewhere around $ 650 dollars. Get'er Done !!!

7. Dry wall and paneling has to be completed in the VHF room.

8. We need screening for the windows, I will donate what I
have then see if we need more.

9. The air conditioner in the VHF room has to be installed.
Trim and hood for the unit has to be installed.

10. We need better internet service for viewing the
sites camera system.

11. The water line has to be shortened up from the
main valve to the bathroom. Get rid of the excess pipe so

the cost of the heat tape and insulation around the piping
will be a minimum so 365 day usage.

12. Door trim & window treatments. I took
measurements and Phyllis W2PDB & myself will get them.

13. Reinforce the rear steps.

14. Continue installing the radio equipment.

15. Jim Mollica N2NRD has to remove the doors that
were left for him which are leaning up against the East end of the
trailer. And Jim you're going to need 4 people to move them with a trailer.
Kevin and Nick tried to move them but they were too heavy for them to
move. Those things weigh a ton.

If anybody can donate (just for field day) a 120 VAC air conditioner to put
in the window opposite the cooking area,

it would be appreciated. I know it's going to get hot in there. An 8,000 BTU
would help. But whatever we can borrow.

As you can see there is a lot to be done yet and I would like to have it
completed before Field Day, if possible.

I took pictures out there today, I will send them to Jeff so he can put them
out to the website and send them to

The members on a separate email so all can see them without going to the
website.

DON'T FORGET SATURDAY WORK PARTY. You have the punch list and know what to
do.

73's Ray W2RM. Site replacement Chairman.
